netEquestrian is built on the foundation that service and quality are the most important aspects of any shopping experience. The netEquestrian Customer Service Staff is ready to answer questions and assist customers in any capacity to help create an easy, pleasurable shopping experience. To ensure the highest level of service, we hire the friendliest, most knowledgeable horse people we can find. Meet some of our staff below!

Kristina Harkin, Online Retail Operations Manager

Kristina is our Retail Operations Manager. She is a CU graduate with a bachelors in Communication and minor in business. Kristina went to her first horse show at 18 months old! Growing up showing the pony hunters, she then proceeded to show all over the country in Jr. Hunters and Big Equitation. She finished in the top 8 in the Intercollegiate Nationals. Excellent with customers, she is our custom guru and is ready to help answer whatever questions you may have!

Deborah Whitcomb, Horse Show Awards Manager

Deb is one of our most talented assets at netEquestrian. She's been riding and competing since she was a child and still continues to ride daily. In addition to her already busy life as a wife and mother of two, on the weekends, she judges many of the local horse shows in the area. Extremely knowledgeable about the horse world, Deb is a wonderful asset to our Customer Service Team. Her specialty is assisting Horse Show Managers find prizes for their events. In addition, she is our main point of contact for our Horse Show Awards program!

Lois Volastro, Buyer

The ultimate horse show mom with 30 years of experience. Raising two girls actively riding and showing on the hunter/jumper circuit, you can't find a more knowledgeable horse person. She currently lives in MA, assisting with Elise Volastro's hunter/jumper barn. She regularly visits horse shows along the East Coast ranging from Saugerties to Ocala keeping her finger on the pulse of what's hot in the horse world.

Karri Pelliccioni, Customer Service Representative

Karri is a retail guru. She brings with her 16 years of retail experience managing stores such as Nau (sustainability leader), Gap, Coach and more. In addition, she is a Certified Massage Therapist. During her massage studies at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, learning about equine massage sparked her interest in the equestrian world as her passion for horses was ignited. You will always receive the most professional, personal service from Karri as she puts her whole heart into everything she does! She lives in nearby Longmont with her husband and her cat, Kramer.

Amy Jordon, Internet Marketing Specialist

Amy has been with netEquestrian since the early days. She and Cherie worked all day (and sometimes late into the night) to make netEquestrian what it is today. Amy is a graduate of CU Boulder and has been riding since she was a very young child. She rode hunter/jumpers and dressage until ankle problems forced her to switch to a western saddle. Now she's a reiner having tons of fun as she works with her four horses. Amy has recently gone back to graduate school but stays on part-time mainly helping with our Internet Marketing.

Cherie Volastro, Owner

Cherie grew up riding and showing hunter/jumpers since since she was a young girl. Graduating from Dartmouth in 1993, where she was Captain of the Equestrian Team, Cherie then proceeded to earn her Masters in Interactive Technologies Design from CU-Denver. After 8 years of Internet Consulting for Fortune 500 companies, Cherie decided to start her own company that combined her business experience with her passion for horses. Cherie loves finding and training young Thoroughbreds off the track and giving them a new start. She is equally passionate about creating an innovative, sustainable company built on the premise of quality products and extraordinary service.

"Chase", Company Mascot

He's stolen the hearts of all the women at netEquestrian. Chase greets everyone as they come in with a wagging tail and a big smile. His photo shows him as a 13lb puppy, though he has since grown into a 105lb beauty! Chase patiently snoozes on his Baker dog bed while everyone is working. The place wouldn't be the same without him!
